#SaveOurPolytechnics : Polytechnics' Students takes Protest/ Campaign online.

The 4th of October would remain a day Polytechnic students of Nigeria would never forget.

Kofi Annan would always say; ''Knowledge is Power. Information is Liberating. Good Education (which we lack at present) is the premise of progress in every society''

Since 4th of October 2013, Polytechnics in Nigeria have been on strike and nobody is talking about it.

To this end, Polytechnics' students have decided to break the silence.
On Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google+, blogs, bbm, whatsapp, an hashtag has been launched; #SaveOurPolytechnics to help vocie out their crys..

Here are what some Polytechnic Students has to say about ASUP and FG:

Adeshola Damilola says;
''Nigeria is gradually going into extinction am sorry to say. Or what do you say to A country with leaders that cannot proffer speedy solution to the issue of strike in polytechnics and colleges? Every step taken so far shows that we Nigerians are on our own, FG and Asup are intentionally dragging the issue because they both have something to gain and nothing to lose. A meeting was scheduled to hold on 24th of June, but was postponed all because our stupid and un-affectionate Ministers who were supposed to be present didn’t eventually show up. What a mess!''

Sanni Hussein(A Student Of Lagos State Polytechnic) says,
Why is nobody talking about this strike???
Why is it that the Federal Govt does not have our time??? Even, The Supervising minister of Education decided not to come to the last ASUP And FG meeting?

Where lies our(Poly students) fate?

Is it until a polytechnic student commits suicide that something would be done?

We have to speak out.
Thanks to everyone lending a voice already...

We won't relent until they(FG) #‎SaveOurPolytechnics‬

Join us, lend a voice:- #SaveOurPolytechnics before something worse happens, cos this is bad already. Thank you!
