Celine Dion to release first English Album in six years

Celine Dion gives a first short taste of her next studio installment ” Loved Me Back to Life”, which becomes her first English-language album in six years. She releases a snippet of the lead single of the same name before it is officially released on September 3.
Penned by Sia Furlerand produced by Sham and Motesart, the upcoming single is a powerful ballad. “There was a point in my career I can remember for maybe 10 years it was all about, ‘Who’s gonna hold a note longer? Who’s gonna sing the note higher?’ ” she says to Billboard.

“And that’s what the industry demanded,” she adds. “It’s not that we were in competition with each other. None of the singers who were doing that stuff wanted that… It has to evolve at some point, even if it’s just for yourself. I can’t wait to go onstage and sing these songs.”

Talking about her vision for the album, she explains, “I’m not trying to reinvent myself, I don’t want people to think. ‘This is a brand new Celine,’ but I am at a place in my career where I’m 45, I’m at the peak of my life, and I’ve never felt like this before. I want to have a good time.”
